Manual roller shutters
Put simply, manual roller shutters are spring-balanced shutters for smaller openings, measured on site and installed by one team from survey to sign-off.
How it is made
The shutter box, guides and bottom rail are sized to the opening and fixed to sound structure. Insurers often specify a lock type or rating, so we confirm their wording before ordering. Finish and colour are chosen to suit the street as well as the level of security needed.
How we handle it
Trade counters and small shops need a shutter that opens reliably at seven in the morning. We keep the range simple and the parts common, so repairs are quick when they are needed.

Manual roller shutters start at around £890 plus VAT. Size, specification and strip-out decide the exact number. Your price is held for 90 days.
How long does it take?
Allow 2-3 weeks after survey from drawings to delivery. Fitting a standard your unit is normally one to two days on site. We can fit on a day the business is shut.

How long is the quotation valid?
Quotations are valid for 90 days from the date they are issued.
How do payments work?
A deposit is taken when you accept the quotation, a further stage payment on the first day of installation, and the balance on satisfactory completion. The exact split is set out on your quotation.
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
